On Exhibit through 5/24/2026 at the Comfort Public Library Learning Center.
Stop by to see this incredible exhibit showcasing how the Port of Galveston was a major gateway for American immigration from 1845 to 1924, and most notably those who settled in Texas. Open to all and is completely free of charge. The exhibit will be on display for self-guided viewing during open library hours. A traveling exhibition by the Bullock Texas State History Museum presented in partnership with Humanities Texas.
